This morning i ministered to a group re this: What a blessing & blessed time it s been! Share in it & gain wisdom knowledge insight alongside we re all on this journey of LIFE AND LOVE !
A Beautiful Melody Word hummmed in my heart: "Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, its jealousy is as enduring as the grave...many waters cannot quenchlove, nor can rivers drown it...." SOS (Song of Songs) 8:6-7
This morning i stopped by for a cuppa on my way to a group session... i noticed an elderly couple sit in the restaurant, laughing throughout their conversation... i could not but smile, wow man, how beautiful! It was clear they enjoyed each others company. Just looking at them, i knew, without a doubt , these two people, they know each others thoughts, but what really gripped me was this: each one conveyed careful interest in what the other had to say. They had each others full attention, wow! It was so clear their routine was familiar comfortable, their preferences well understood. I found myself smiling more than once... As they enjoyed their meal, i could not help but see their mutual fondness and genuine care for each other. Beautiful! Loved what i saw!
To me, devotion means emotional investment and interest in your partner /(spouse) , over a period of time. I truly believe it to be a sign of maturity in a realationship, and it goes much deeper than mere actions. Devotion i believe now, (at last yeah!) is a condition of the heart. I dont believe you can just "act" devoted - believe me, the hardships of life will just crush that out of you!
So what i ve done, i ve asked God to make devotion part of my character. He answered my prayer by showing me how devoted He is to me...Let me be very honest: i did not quite expect it to work that way, but as i have sought The Lord God, made immense effort to get to know Him over the years, in the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful times, He overwhelmed me with His Love & still does to this very day, this very hour, this very second. Amazing Grace, Amazing Love!
Due to this taking place, i believe i (NOW ONLY) find myself in a qualified position , ready for real love of a partner /(spouse). Because of His Faithfulness & Dependability, i am now ready to give that to a partner(spouse) in the same way, that is devotion. Because of His unwavering acceptance, unconditional grace, i am now ready to devote myself to providing the same for a partner/(spouse) I have come to know firsthand at last, what Devotion is all about at the end :YES, (never too late to learn with Him in Him through Him unto Him!) Devotion is dependable,foundational and of God.

CHOOSE LOVE TODAY, TO LIFE, FOR LIFE , with your partner /(spouse, in accordance with the vows you made on your wedding day), when you were both committed to being together for "better or for worse" , richer or poorer, forsaking all others, till death do us part."
Make a choice today (do not harden your heart) ...seek The Lord God FIRST AS HUSBANDMAN and bask in His devotion for you first... ONLY THEN we can tell our partner/(spouse) that he or she can count on us for a LIFETIME!
In His Perfect Love, in His Perfect Time...real devoted love, i believe, is possible, for with Him all things are possible, for us who dare to believe + trust Him fully!
IT TAKES TWO, IN THE ONE, ONEWAY DEVOTION !
Raise your LIFE AND LOVE CUPPA!
