BAD APPLES VERSUS RIPE POMEGRANATE’S !
Precious Friend,
I pray this Easter Time 2012, you ll find yourself producing
an aisle of His Love…
Gal 5:22-23 “ But the fruit of The Spirit is love joy peace
patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness and selfcontrol…”
Trust me, we re not naturally of noble character! In fact,
we often so easy label ourselves “Christians” (I don’t preference that tag I
choose to be known as His Passion Woman loving Him crazy oh so Beautiful!)
We don’t give thought
to that label “Christian” . . .what it really means. We think the label cover
our actions… ah! So? Allow me to pop the popcorn for you now by His Spirit,
ok?!
Grace makes healing available, our choices make healing
possible. Read it again grasp what I m saying here…
Stepping into His will dictates our blessings and keep us healthy in Him! Living for God, being
healed, is not about outward appearances, let me tell you straight and in all
truth!
Wanna know what a healthy life is about? IT is about what
God has done on the INSIDE through the Blood of Jesus Christ, His Son and His
Spirit. People will know He lives when they see His Love and His Fruit
operating in your life. According to Math 7:17, fruit is either good or bad, or
ala Tania “ bad apples versus ripe pomegranates” J Simply cannot be both,
sorry to pop your popcorn…you re found in Christ Jesus…or not! Simple as that!
Let me take you bit deeper into His Word Ocean…come swim in
the deepside with me quickly…
Gal 5 talks about the fruit of The Spirit. These fruit are
not manifested through our natural physical efforts. Gal 5:25 makes clear “
since we live by The Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” I have found
we heal as we step in and by The Spirit…
The Temple
stairs we climb trail beneath the torn curtain, into The Holy of Holies, as we
manifest what I call, God s functioning fruit, to provide stability for our
life and healing journey. We are to be found by Him, fruitful trees, blessed,
producing the fruit of His Choosing for us!
On the other hand you do know that FRUITLESSNESS is contrary
to God s ways, as Jesus Himself demontstrated in Math 21:18-19 “ in the morning
as Jesus was returning to Jerusalem ,
He was hungry, and He noticed a fig tree beside the Road. He went over to see
if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then He said to it “may you
never bear fruit again!” and immediately the fig tree withered up!”
SO? We need blossoms on our fig trees and grapes on our vine
or we re in big big big danger… trouble zone baby!
I love to remind myself of Math 3:8 “ produce fruit in
keeping with repentence” I tell you our godly sorrow in repentance keeps us in
His grace , our fruits keep us moving forward, I ve come to know in my life
walk with Him, a day by day closer walk with Jesus…
Why do we so often connect man’s morality with God s
fruitfulness!!! However, man’s
principles often produce what I have found, bondage and perfectionism. The plan
of satan is to keep us feeling like we have to ACHIEVE SALVATION! We know
better hey! We know salvation is received because of grace, not performance,
but then we confuse ourselves thinking the rest will be just as easy…that s
where the tyre hits the tar with being “Christian”!!!
Throw of hindrances to your healing, such as performance
mentality. Take on those things that will ensure you stay healthy in The Vine!
Really, we don’t need to perform a song and dance in order to feel like we re
of noble enough character to call ourselves “Christians”….
No man come on, God sees our hearts! Give Him full access!
He s not interested in a front row seat and flashy extravaganza! IF IF IF we
seek Him in obedience and allowing Him to access our hearts, our fruit will
blossom in His time I can guarantee you, I know… Just as it is with true
balance, the fruit will come from Him only.
Now that I m successfully stepping into His divine promise,
I need to know I have to understand that I m not miraculously going to produce
superior character at once..It s not mine to manufacture, but to receive simply
through my love and passionate intimacy with God Jesus Holy Spirit!
Take this, a mouthful to swallow but dare to absorb it:
Just as with true obedience, you and I, we become what we
see, hear, learn, accept as truth, and do!!! This infiltration and initiation,
becomes how we live and eventually who we are. Think about this: we know enough
to protect our kids from the world, yet we allow society to infiltrate our
hearts with death everyday and everynight, hello!? It is time we arrest this
process, as our ingestion will eventually affect our children and the world
around us…
As for me, I operated in the opposite of the fruit for so
long in my life, that when God started change development growth IN ME, my new
character was suddenly foreign to me I tell you!!!! We cannot expect God to
heal others through us if we re constantly trying to be something someone we re
not!! We have to allow God to genuinely make us these things and accept His
ways! Hear my heart and His heart: fake fruit will not change hearts!
I m daring to say:
We look for fruit, but we cannot assume that because
kindness looks good at church it is God s fruit….Surprise! Too many “church
Christians” have plastic grapes on their heart tables, just rubber!” Don’t get
me wrong, they even look real, like real grapes!
One true fruit surfaces behind close doors, where no one is
watching! Fruit my friend, does not need
an audience to applause, let met tell you straight and honest from my very real
life experience! True fruit comes from a seed that goes into the ground and
then dies before it becomes what God intended!
All the glory honour and praise to Him!
May you this Easter be the seed in the ground, the seed that
will die before you arise and shine, to become what He intended you to be, in
Him, through Him, unto Him, yes, His beautiful ripe pomegranate!
